Teacher Class Notes

Once you've logged into PTBoard, you will see a tab for Teacher Class Notes. Teachers can send announcements to parents of specific classes without having to send multiple emails or photocopy. Teachers can type one message about homework, a project or a class party, for example, that is then posted to PTBoard and automatically emailed.

Ms. Page is a teacher who wants to tell her 3rd, 4th, and 5th period students' parents about their poem due on Monday. She simply goes on PTBoard, clicks the Teacher Class Note tab, types in the announcement, and chooses the classes she wants to send the announcement to. This feature helps Ms. Page and her students, because the students' parents receive reminders about homework, and Ms. Page does not have to go through the hassle of sending many emails and reminders. The selected parents will receive emails containing the class note. This class note can also be viewed on the Dashboard, and under the Announcement tab.
