Calendar

Are there too many events, dates and conferences to keep track of for your school? Once you've logged into PTBoard, you will see a “Calendar” tab that will make this easier! Clicking takes you to a calendar that includes school, classroom and even personal events! Administrators can simply post school events here and all school members will then be able to see the events on their calendars. Events are also automatically added to each user’s calendar for the dates that related to them.

Principal Wilson wants to add the School Book Sale to the school calendar. He opens the school calendar, clicks on the first day of the event and fills in a few details. He even adds a reminder message to be sent. Minutes later, Mrs. Brice logs into PTBoard from her phone and learns about the School Book Sale on Fantasy Elementary's main page. She opens her calendar and chooses to also view her children’s classroom events and her personal events so that she can check for conflicting activities. Within minutes, she sees the windows of time when she’ll be able to volunteer and attend the book sale.

Mrs. Brice wants to grab the Tuesday 9am timeslot to meet with her kid’s teacher for the parent-teacher conference. She opens up the parent-teacher conference sign-up and picks the Tuesday 9am timeslot. An event is automatically added to her personal calendar for this timeslot and an email reminder is sent to her automatically when this date is approaching. She can also see this in the Upcoming section on her dashboard.
